Spectrum Music - Atlas of Imaginary Places

  • Annex Theatre 730 Bathurst Street Toronto, ON CANADA (map)

Come prepared to travel with us, to the farthest corners of the universe: those within your imagination.

A pre-concert reading of a contemporary fairy-tale sets the scene for an enchanted evening. Fantastical realms, futuristic dystopias, and faraway galaxies are on the itinerary for this musical exploration of the imagined.

The delightful Aline Homzy/ Andrew Kesler Duo, are joined by contemporary vocalists Felicity Williams and Alex Samaras. This carefully chosen ensemble will create evocative soundscapes, through which the Spectrum composers explore the distant landscapes of myth, fable, and stories yet untold.

The program features “Dragon Suite”, the newly released record from the Homzy-Kesler duo. Princesses, knights in shining armour, and dragons come to life through their playful and evocative pieces. Hear this fabulous suite performed live for the very first time!
