The two-act musical begins with a written number titled “What’s in store today”. The opening number, the instruments and the tone of the musical change with each era. During the opening number, the audience has the opportunity to shout out suggestions on which the musical is based. The audience then meets some of the main characters as the four leads improvise their character’s backstory.
The show itself features everything you would find in any typical musical , with show stopping
improvised musical chorus numbers, breathtaking improvised solos and hilarious improvised duets.
It’s a show that is being written right in front of your eyes and a show that will never be seen again
once it’s over. Audiences can come and see the show as many times as they like and it will always be
different. If you’re looking for a night out like no other, look no further than Golden Ages: The
Completely Improvised Musical.
